TACOMA – Kenneth W. Lund recently joined Tacoma Goodwill as chief operating officer. From his position on Goodwill’s executive team, Lund will oversee Human Resources, Commercial Services, Retail Sales, Real Estate and Corporate Partnerships.
Lund has more than 25 years of experience in management and development, most recently as president and CEO of Westlake Senior Living, a San Mateo, Calif., retirement community with revenues of more than $25 million annually. He holds a business adminstration degree from Pacific Lutheran University and is studying for an advanced degree in health services management. He and his wife, Ellen, have three children and live in Gig Harbor. Lund will report directly to Goodwill CEO Terry A. Hayes.
“Kenneth Lund has the experience to provide the forward-thinking we need to advance relationships with our corporate partners and expand job opportunities,” she said. “He is a caring individual who understands our mission.”
Hayes also announced the hiring of Matthew Erlich as Media Relations/PR Coordinator. Erlich has 25 years of experience as a journalist and in public relations. He previously worked as an account manager with JayRay, a communications consultancy in Tacoma. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Willamette University in Salem, Ore. Erlich lives in Gig Harbor with his wife, Chris, and daughter.
