TACOMA, WA – Goodwill’s It’s All About the Dress is a one-day only special sales event to be held on Saturday, March 31st from 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. showcasing brand-name evening, prom and wedding dresses. Also a large selection of tuxedos and accessories, including jewelry, veils, sashes and shoes will be available.
With nearly 3,000 gowns and dresses, and prices starting at $19.99, it’s a steal for those looking for prom, wedding and special occasion attire. Many of the dresses still have price tags on them, and most have only been worn once.
It’s All About the Dress will take place in the University of Puget Sound Field House in Tacoma. “We’re excited to host this event in such a large space – the field house is perfect to showcase the huge inventory of dresses,” said John Nadeau, Goodwill’s director of retail sales. “This space will allow for a really fun atmosphere! We’re talking racks and racks of colorful dresses of all sizes and styles, plenty of fitting room assistance, two areas set up with three way mirrors to model dresses, seating for friends and family, and refreshments will be available.”
“We’re ever thankful of the generosity of our many donors who helped make this event possible by donating their never worn and gently worn special garments,” said Goodwill’s CEO Terry Hayes. “And, to our shoppers, who make shopping a win win! Customers get great value on high quality items and Goodwill turns dollars into mission support – providing job training and placement services to help people with disabilities and disadvantages go to work.”
