Goodwill’s programs are open to people with disabilities and disadvantages in our community. A disability can be any documented physical, mental or emotional condition. Some common disadvantages include language barriers, homelessness or a low income. People from youth to adult may face many barriers.
To get started, first read through each program description available on this website which best fits your goals, skills and lifestyle. Keep in mind what you are hoping to achieve. Next, contact a local Goodwill Work Opportunity Center, in Tacoma, Longview, Yakima or South Lacey. Address and phone information are below.
In Tacoma, for example, you’ll get in contact with Workforce Navigator James Watts. Contact Goodwill Workforce Navigator James Watts at 253.573.6577 or jwatts@tacomagoodwill.org. There will be an orientation, interview and evaluation to determine which of Goodwill’s programs can provide the most help.
