Goodwill helps people with barriers to employment go to work. We rely on financial gifts from generous members of our community to help us provide education and job training to our participants at not cost to them.
Monthly Sustained Giving is an easy and affordable way to make an impact on someone’s life. As a Goodwill Sustained Donor, you provide ongoing support that is automatically charged to your credit card each month. Goodwill relies on monthly gifts to budget for scholarships and other expenses to help our participants go back to work.
How does Sustained Giving work?
It’s simple! Your contribution is automatically charged to your credit card each month. Your donation continues uninterrupted until you tell us you want to make a change. Complete our Sustained Giving enrollment form to get started.
What are the advantages to Sustained Giving?
- It’s easier to budget—spread your support from month to month.
- Your donation is ongoing—no need to keep track of when you last gave, and your support continues without interruption.
- You choose when to make your gift—we can bill your credit card on the 1st or 15th of each month. Just let us know your preference.
- You’re in control—you choose the amount you want to give (starting at $5/month) and you can increase, decrease or discontinue your gift at any time.
How will my gift help?
Many of our participants don’t have access to healthy meals.
Your gift of $5/month (or $60) pays for 12 healthy meals for GED students so they can focus on their studies.
Many participants have concerns about the cost of transportation to and from Goodwill.
Your gift of $6.25/month (or $75) provides a monthly bus pass for a participant to get to class or a new job.
Many feel lost and overwhelmed when laid off from a job. They come to Goodwill for help, but don’t know where to start.
Your gift of $42/per month (or $500) covers the cost of Pathways to Work, a mandatory “boot camp” for new participants.
The first step on the road to a new career is to complete a job training program.
Your gift of $125/per month (or $1,500) provides one full DreamMaker scholarship and training in our 30 Washington State accredited programs.
