Goodwill’s Computer & Office Skills Training is a Washington State certified vocational training program designed to prepare students for employment in today’s high-tech office environment or to continue on to post-secondary education.  Providing small student-to-instructor ratios and a professional staff the 10-week course is individually tailored to student needs and career goals.  Training is held in a classroom that replicates a typical office setting and may include any combination of the following skills:

  • MS Word 365
  • MS Outlook 365
  • MS Excel 365
  • Introduction to Webpage Maintenance
  • Introduction to Cloud Based File Management
  • General Office Skills & Equipment
  • Professionalism Development & Office Etiquette
  • Development of a professional Resume

For students with disabilities, adaptive workstations are available, including sit/stand stations, adaptive or ergonomic keyboards and mouse options.  Assisting software programs including JAWS Screen Reader, Zoom Text Screen Enlargement and Dragon Naturally Speaking Voice Recognition are also available for students.

Certification is provided to students successfully completing required lessons and satisfactorily passing required tests.
