For the past five years, Mandy has had aspirations to become a barista. Ever since graduating from high school, she knew that she wanted to work at a coffee shop. After filling out several applications and going through several interviews she was still finding it hard to get a job. Although she had the desire, she lacked work experience which is what brought her to the Goodwill Barista Training program.
Mandy is currently halfway though the program and is loving it. She enjoys learning new skills and interacting with other participants and customers. After she graduates from the program, Mandy hopes to get a job at a coffee shop where she can work her way up and eventually open her own coffee stand one day.
